The Tannery was built in 1995.
StartedMarch 1996 well
equipped for the early stage processing of fine leathers. The four Olcina
drums giving the tannery the capacity to process 7 tonnes of hides per day.
From the early stage processing the tannery’s
capacity has been extended to handling not only Kangaroo but Bovine, Sheep,
Horse, Ostrich, Crocodile, Fish, Goat, Deer and Dingo, producing quality
leathers in a range of colours and textures.
The
Tannery’s signature lines include: Kangaroo whip and lacing leather, Bovine
red hide, furs and hair on hides and skins.
